About SENS International

SENS International develops and invests in new district cooling projects. In addition to acting as a co-investor, we provide project development services to our partners including identification and evaluation of business prospects. SENS International has a unique position within the growing segment of SWAC and district cooling and bring experience being engaged in a number of global developments.

What is District Cooling/SWAC

The main idea of District Cooling/SWAC (Sea Water Air Conditioning) is to use local sources for cooling that otherwise would be wasted or not used, in order to offer the local market a competitive and high-efficient alternative to the traditional cooling solutions.

SWAC1

With 5–10 times higher energy efficiency the CO2 impact can be reduced with 80-90% compared with conventional cooling. Also the effluents of hazardous Freon can be reduced to the same extent. District cooling has a high degree of operational reliability (up to 99,9%) as well as accessibility that makes it suitable for demanding facilities such as hospitals, data centers, industries and airports.

SWAC is a proven technology

Renewable
SWAC is a renewable energy system that uses cold seawater from the ocean depths as a coolant for air-conditioning systems of buildings
Proven Technology
SWAC is a well-established and proven technology with systems in operation around the world for more than 20 years.
